This is a design that I have done as a gift to all Star Wars fans.
Firstly I worked in the procedural terrain trying to get a good erosion in the rocks and after this I have created a list of personal materials to test what was the best way to do it. Clone troopers as the well-known spaceship called "Destroyer star" were made on 3Ds Max 2013 and I then added these objects on Vue.
Commonly my personal works are created on 3Ds Max or Cinema 4D, but I like to test different environments to get a good atmosphere. I have tested a few of environments with a high quality of photons as well as particles of dust. In this case I have used Global illumination as rendering engine, but if I had used radiosity this will increase drastically the resolution of this environment, because it has a better calculation of atmosphere reflections, indirect illumination, ambient, etc. but I prefer to use GI because I have considered I got a good environment talking about lighting.
